Los servicios municipales de protección y recogida de animales de Calpe recuperaron el domingo un ejemplar de alcatraz atlántico que se encontraba en dificultades para volar. El ave no presentaba heridas aunque no podía alzar el vuelo. Ayer mismo el pájaro fue trasladado al centro de recuperación de animales de Alicante. El alcatraz no va a tierra más que en primavera y escoge islas desiertas, no nidifica en España pero es una de las aves marinas más abundantes en migración por las costas atlánticas. Por el momento se desconoce qué le llevó a las playas de Calpe.
